Sales Account Manager

Number of positions: 5
Department: Sales
Location: London and Bracknell
Salary: 22k Basic, 32k OTE
Hours: between the hours of 9am – 6pm, Monday – Friday, up to 40hrs per week.

Field Based Sales Function – New Business Sales and Account Management of Products (Hosted IPT, managed bandwidth, LAN/desktop support, managed e-mail solutions, SmartRecord, Online Backup etc. Target audience of IT&T dependent Small and Medium businesses and serviced office providers.

Required skills/experience:

Preferably attended and passed a structured sales training program, field based sales experienced gained within a B2B environment within the IT & Telecoms sector. We will consider exceptional non experienced candidates also.

Responsibilities:

    • Achieve product and revenue targets as set by management
    • Sales of IT/Telco through office space deals in defined clusters
    • Pre-Sales –meet with/speak to prospective clients during the viewing stages of their prospective office move and qualify IT and telephony requirements; prepare proposals and close deal alongside office sale
  • Up-Sell – selling additional products and services to existing clients or increasing the services they already have due to expansions
  • Facilitating the office sale by selling the value of the IT to clients as a point of difference
  • Be regularly on site in cluster buildings as a visible source of support, problem solve and increase awareness of voxclever
  • Increase revenue by driving price per workstation
  • Attend viewings and move-in meetings with centre staff and new clients
  • Create strong relationships with centre staff within your defined cluster, and the clients within those buildings
  • Report accurately your sales forecast, deals won/lost and activity using Salesforce CRM 
  • Represent voxclever in a professional manner at all times
  • Identify and qualify areas of improvement in terms of process and product and assist in the implementation thereafter.
  • Provide a channel of communication between your area of responsibility and the rest of the business, delivering the right message, at the right time, in the right manner.
  • Forge strong communication links with all relevant departments in the business.

Software Test Engineer

Number of positions: 1
Department: Systems & Software Development
Location: Bracknell
Salary: 30k - 35k
Hours: between the hours of 9am – 6pm, Monday – Friday, up to 40hrs per week.

Definition and accountability for the test strategy and methodology. Effective delivery of thorough planning and testing of all software features developed ensuring that all significant defects are identified and resolved prior to release. Working closely with the Business Analysts and Developers to deploy functional strategic software initiatives to tight deadlines.

Required skills/experience:

    • Demonstrable experience in Integration, System and UAT testing of web applications.
    • Undergraduate degree with related experience within software engineering or computer science field and ISEB (or equivalent) certification preferable.
    • Be prepared to work in the early stages in an environment with no established QA presence and no formal structured QA process.
    • Similar experience of working in a small enterprise and adaptable to a non-structured environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Detailed, methodical and motivated outlook.
  • Ability to assess particular issues and formulate options, recommendations and appropriate actions.
  • Self starter capable of taking on key roles with minimal supervision and guidance and delivering them through to a successful conclusion.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications aptitude is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and definition of the strategy and standards to be used in testing process.
  • Development and implementation of effective test strategies and test plans for new and existing products by translating business processes and requirements into clear and comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Application of the QA methodology to all new and existing products developed

Sales and Marketing Director

Number of positions: 1
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Bracknell
Salary: £100k plus basic, OTE expectation £250k uncapped
Hours: between the hours of 8am – 6pm, Monday – Friday, up to 45hrs per week.

The position reports to the founder & CEO. The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for retention growth and profitability, and to contribute to the executive management of the company.

Required skills and experience:

A minimum of 10 years experience in developing and managing sales teams in the IT & Telecoms sector. The ideal candidate will have experience of building direct and indirect sales channels as well as a strong background in product development and marketing communications within a B2B environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and implement marketing strategy, including advertising and PR.
  • Plan and implement sales and customer retention and development.
  • Plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets.
  • Contribute to formulation of policy and strategy as a member of the executive management team.
  • Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures, policy and employment law.
  • Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems.
  • Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments.
  • Select and manage external sales channels.
  • Work closely with operational to guide direct and influence the product development roadmap of the company
  • Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, and protect and develop the company's brands via suitable PR activities and intellectual property management.
  • Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities

Non Executive Chairman

Number of positions: 1
The chairman is appointed by and reports to the board of directors.

Remuneration: Negotiable – Stock weighted
Hours: Part-time Negotiable

The appointee will support the founder and CEO of voxclever in shaping and building the business. They will have in depth experience in building high growth technology companies having founded built and exited similar businesses successfully in the past. The ideal candidate will have in depth experience and a demonstrable track record in raising funds from both the private and public markets as well as having a significant track record in mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply vision and imagination at the highest level working with the founder & CEO
  • Take chair at general meetings, within which: to ensure orderly conduct; fair and appropriate opportunity for all to contribute; suitable time allocation per item; determining order of agenda; directing discussion towards consensus; clarifying and summing up actions and policies.
  • Act as the organisation's representative in its dealings with the outside world.
  • Play a leading part in determining composition of board and sub-committees.
  • Take decisions as delegated by the board and where required chair board meetings.
  • Execute the responsibilities of a company director according to lawful and ethical standards.
  • Constructively challenge and help in developing proposals on strategy
  • Scrutinise management’s performance in meeting agreed goals and objectives and the monitoring of performance reports.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial information and that controls and risk management systems are robust and defensible.
  • Determining appropriate levels of remuneration for executive management.
  • Appointing and removing executive directors, and ensuring there is effective succession planning in the business to minimise risk in the business.
